The 3 A's of Public Life Discussion
Questions:
1. Which of the 3 A’s most resonates with
you, and why?
2. Select a person, either from your personal
life or a public figure, who you believe
exemplifies one or more of the 3 A’s. Why did
you select this person? How can you and others
reflect the same characteristics in your daily
work?
3. Does your organization have the kind of
authority, accountability, and authenticity it
needs to be a truly catalytic organization –
the kind that not only achieves its mission,
but builds community at the same time? If not,
what can you do to change?
4. Do you believe your organization acts as
part of the community? If not, what are
concrete steps you can take to change
that?
5. Do you believe members of the community
feel you have their best interests at heart?
How do you know?
6. What are three ways you can more
effectively integrate the 3 A’s into your
daily work, job description, and/or performance
review?
