Share The 3A’s Self-Assessment with your staff. Use the discussion questions to talk about how they see the station in relation to the community.
Take a project you are working on and consider how each of the 3A’s applies to your work. What would it take to have authority, to be authentic and to hold yourself accountable?
Print off The 3A’s Self-Assessment and give it to your Community Advisory Board before your next meeting. How would your CAB say the station is doing? Where can you improve? How could the CAB help you gain more authority in your community?
Print off a copy of The 3A’s of Public Life: Implications and post them in your office, conference room and other public places. Build a habit of asking yourself “How do The 3A’s apply to what we’re hearing, doing, creating?
