While tension, dissonance and even conflict may not always feel like progress they are a critical part of creating change.
Without dissonance and tension we don't create opportunities for ourselves and others to discover a different approach. Without dissonance it'll be "business as usual." That doesn't mean we should be reckless. It means that dissonance is essential and instead of avoiding it we need to use it to propel ourselves forward.
Ask yourself:
* Where is there dissonance in this work?
* Are we trying to "make nice" or are we really trying to "make hope real?"
