BATTLE CREEK, MI – A $1.4 million grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation will fund a three-year initiative to address social issues in the Cereal City.
A collaboration of grassroot and community leaders, working with The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation and the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region, will work to make Battle Creek the nation’s first Beacon Community for social change.
